The new year has brought in some exciting new changes at Signcast. We told you about Jamie Parker joining the team last week, he is looking forward to welcoming all our business and commercial enquiries. This week has seen Jamie getting to know his new customers and involving him in all aspects of creating beautiful bespoke house name plaques and signs. He really enjoyed seeing the sand casting process first hand in our on site foundry. The casting process can be wonderful to watch, as each bespoke plaque is transformed from a piece of metal into a decorative piece of artwork to adorn the home. Our range is growing daily with many planned additions for message plaques being introduced . We have some wonderful anniversary plaque patterns being created, which will be cast in solid bronze as a gift idea for those with an 8th wedding anniversary to celebrate. These romantic wall plaques will also make lovely Valentines gifts for that someone special in your life, each one can be personalized with a name if desired. Bronze is a wonderfully seductive metal to admire when highly polished which is probably why many statues and ornaments were cast in bronze. We will be adding this new range to our site just in time for Valentines Day, so no excuses that you can't find an original gift.

Hello everyone. Here's wishing you all a very Happy New Year from the Signcast team. We have had a very busy and exciting past year and have lots of news and updates for 2011. We now have on board, Jamie Parker who is about to launch his career with Signcast as our trade representative and first call for corporate enquiries, so don't be shy, phone or email Jamie with your requests and he will do his best to meet your requirements. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Jamie to Signcast and wish him all the best. The highlights of the past year have included our new categories of Specialist plaques and Historical Blue plaques, so that everyone can see the standard of work we produce in this area. We provide specialist quotes in regards to these exceptional bespoke awards and commemorative plaques which are produced by hand here in the U.K, as we do with our whole range. We have also extended our bronze range in recent months and continue to provide excellent options in memorial plaques and staked plaques for memorial gardens. We have been having a very hectic time at Signcast recently. As Christmas approaches we are creating a lot of beautiful and unusual gifts for our customers, we have developed a brand new personalised garden spike, which is proving very popular. During the last month, despite being very busy with Christmas preparations, we still found time to speak with Danny Kelly on BBC WM's Radio programme. He was keen to find out what the most popular house names were. Danny took on a comedic theme and we were invited to divulge humorous house name plates that we had been asked to make. It was great fun chatting with Danny and we would like to thank him for having us on his show.

The Signcast Showroom

We are delighted to have come to completion stage regarding our showroom. It is now full of stock for our customers to view and in a most beautiful part of the country. Ironbridge Gorge is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a wonderful attraction area. Besides the many shops and museums it is also surrounded by wonderful countryside to meander in. So why not venture out one weekend and pay us a visit, we would love to see you there.
